Stall, Book Signing and Storytime fun at Outlet Shopping at The O2 in London!
I was thrilled when I was invited to do my Storytime at The O2 last weekend, and what a fun weekend it was! I was located in the Upper Level of Outlet Shopping in a nice area with tables and benches and a fantastic view of The O2 from above.
Families were able to drop in on my Storytime, check out the Music Audio Stories stall and get signed copies of my picture books. I thought it might be difficult for children to concentrate in that area, but actually, they had excellent focus and enjoyed the activities I did for them.
As with all of my Storytimes, I included a fun read-aloud of my picture book, drawing, singing, and dancing, and the children loved listening to the stories and hearing the characters' voices and the songs. Children also learned about the circus and the Big Top.
It was so much fun seeing them pointing out the characters in my book and colouring in my Big Top printables...
I love doing my read-aloud as it involves me singing the song in the story three times, which always delights my little audience. I also signed copies of my picture book, and on Sunday, Jenika was at The O2 with me so we both signed copies of our book together.
