Stall, Book Signing and Storytime fun at Outlet Shopping at The O2 in London!
For the last two weekends, I have been at The O2 doing my Storytime, Book Signing and running the Music Audio Stories stall. I was located at the Upper Level of Outlet Shopping, which was a great place to attract passing families. They were able to drop in on my Storytime, check out my stall and get signed copies of my picture books.
Doing a new event in an unfamiliar location can be daunting, as it is difficult to predict how things will go. However, I'm thrilled to say, my visits to The O2 were a success, and it was a pleasure entertaining the children and meeting their parents.
As with all of my Storytimes, I included a fun read-aloud of my picture book, drawing, singing, and dancing, and the children loved listening to the stories and hearing the characters' voices and the songs. Children also learned about the circus and the Big Top. I brought blue puzzle mats and was surprised how cosy it made the space! Especially as the seating area is such a wide open area.
Last weekend, it was very hot weather, but this weekend, it was raining. The sound of rain on The O2 roof was quite loud at one point, but luckily it came when I was on a break! Extra lighting came on which you can see in the middle photograph above.

Thank you once again to the wonderful families who attended my Storytimes over the last two weekends. It was a joy to spend time with you! It was a pleasure signing your books, and don't forget to post your little ones' drawings online using #MusicAudioStories so we can all admire their artwork.
Keep a lookout on our social media platforms as I will be posting more fun photos of my fun Storytime at The O2!
BIG thank you once again to Louisa, Lee and the awesome security guys at The O2!
