The Making and Creating of Book Two - Original Pencil Sketches and Ideas!
We are thrilled to announce our second picture book is almost ready for release! 
Are you ready to step inside the magical enchanted garden and world of Chris the Caterpillar? We have been working hard on our new picture book, based on our Music Audio Story, Chris the Caterpillar. It has been such a pleasure working together with illustrator, Jenika Ioffreda, on our 32-page book. We've had so much fun brainstorming and exchanging ideas. Creating a picture book is hard work but the joy it brings, especially when you begin to see the artwork developing into beautiful illustrations, is one of the most exciting things.

I particularly enjoy seeing the transition from early pencil sketches to inked pages, and then seeing how amazing they all look in colour. Above you can see some pencil sketches and some inked pages. The characters from this book were already created when we made our Chris the Caterpillar Video Series which helped the process. However, creating full double-page spreads for a book is a whole different ball game.
